This week has been absolutely freezing. I realize that I live in Buffalo and I should be used to these kinds of winters, but the idea of living somewhere that's warm year round becomes more and more appealing every year. That said, since there's not much to do outside, the most entertaining things for me to do this time of year are shopping, internet browsing, and then some more shopping. My birthday is coming up so I have an excuse to buy something fun for myself, right?
Here are some things I've been loving this week:
For a long time, I've been on the hunt for a crescent moon and triangle pendant necklace like the ones Stevie used to wear. This one would be perfect - I'd just need to find a triangular one to go with it.
Coffee and seltzer water have been my two vices lately. I mostly buy Polar brand, but I discovered the cans of La Croix at Target last night and I'm enjoying it.
I'm stuck in a hair rut. Not really style-wise, because my hair is so long - I've been doing lots of different things to it, I just want it to look different, you know? A couple weeks ago, I got the urge to chop it into something like this, but I talked myself out of it for the moment - now, all I've been doing is looking at pretty pictures of long hair. I love this, this, and this, just to name a few. My "Hair" Pinterest board is chock full of pictures of crazy-gorgeous long hair.
Oooooh Sons of Anarchy. I've been hooked on this show since last year - I started watching during the middle of season five, watched it all the way to the end of season six, and then decided to go back and start from the beginning, which now means I'm almost done with season four. A weird way to watch a show, I know. Anyway, I don't know what I'm going to do when I'm all caught up. In case you're not addicted yet, here's more info on what it's all about. Not for the faint of heart, but so, so good.
Lastly, I've been on the hunt for perfume. I've never been somebody that has a "signature scent" or anything like that, and this year, I decided I wanted to dip my toes into the world of fragrances. I need suggestions, it's overwhelming! I really want to try something that is made from natural oils and isn't too terribly expensive/a huge bottle (I'm indecisive). Hopefully I find something I like soon...I wish there were an easier way to try things - I don't want to leave my couch, and a lot of the ones I want to try I can't get in a store anyway. The hunt continues.
